Bartlesville Festival of the Nativity

Virtual Only for 2020

The Festival of the Nativity is a free interdenominational community Christmas event held each year in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. The anchor event is a display of hundreds of nativities representing the cultures of people throughout the world. Family-friendly concerts featuring music from local churches, schools, and ensembles will be held on Friday and Saturday. A Messiah Sing-Along will also be part of the Festival.

This year we won’t be able to host the beloved Festival of the Nativity like we have the past 10 years. We are deeply saddened, as this always invites the true Spirit of Christmas for us and so many who also participate and attend. We continue to pray that conditions will improve so that we can celebrate the Festival of the Nativity and the birth of the Christ Child next year all together in fellowship again. Our prayer is that in the absence of the Festival of the Nativity, each of you will display your own Nativities in your homes and flood social media with your unique and treasured depictions of the baby Jesus, Mary & Joseph and may we all sincerely pray for the collective healing of our country and our world. We can look at even this setback as a gift to focus more on what we have and truly #givethanks.

Help us give Christmas gifts to youth in need in Bartlesville! Each year through this event we raise $15-$20k to help provide Christmas gifts for Youth in the Bartlesville area. This year we have created a video to share pictures of nativity displays from years past. We have a goal of raising $10,000 to give to the youth this year! You can help us by visiting www.playforburk.org and using the “Donate” button. If you work for Phillips 66 or ConocoPhillips you can donate to the foundation through your company and have your gift automatically matched.
